Study shows: Flavonoids may protect against Parkinson´s disease

People who regularly eat berries may reduce their risk of developing Parkinson´s disease. Researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health will present these results during a meeting of the American Academy of Neurology in April 2012.They found that eating and drinking of flavonoid-rich foods and drinks (like berries, apples, oranges, tea and red wine) may lower the risk of developing Parkinson´s disease with 40%. This effect is much stronger in men than in women.
Green tea decreases the “bad” LDL cholesterol

Scientists have analyzed the studies that were done to assess the influence of green tea on cholesterol levels.
